MUS 3742: Secondary Music Methods
Course Description
2 credit hours. Intended for future music teachers, this course is designed to prepare the students to teach music at the secondary level. Students develop and teach a series of lesson plans that involve secondary school students in music learning; prepare a notebook of teaching materials and resources for secondary level music; and read about and discuss problems and methods of teaching music in the secondary school.
This course is only taught spring semesters.
