I share the belief that the professional educator is a facilitator. Educators or facilitators are responsible for the growth and learning of all students under his or her care. We are liable for understanding multicultural diversity and global perspective. Through effective teaching practices, instructors are capable of enhancing and enriching the students’ skills. These essential skills lead to success in every field and most areas of their lives. The educational leader provides students and teachers with the knowledge that will allow them to adapt to change and act as informed citizens. Group learning strategies and reflective thinking can assist students in gaining a better understanding of their world. Educational technology is the key to the future. It can widen the horizon of their experience by offering students a better understanding and appreciation of some of the best of human achievement. As a higher education adult facilitator it is my desire to promote classroom-proficiency skills, life-enhancing practices and cultural-historical appreciation that foster the desire of those under my direction to engage meaningfully and creatively in society.
