Extended Interview Assignment

You and your interview partner will conduct your final interview in front of the class. You can either do this interview live or pre-tape it and bring in the VHS for your classmates to watch. (Remember, you will have to do two interviews: once as an interviewer and once as an interviewee).
Your interview needs to be at least 12 minutes in length.
Receive feedback from your classmates and your professor.
Using the information from Chapter 6 (Anderson & Killenberg), write a 3-5 page paper addressing three key issues in employment interviewing. Use examples from in-class interviews (yours and your classmates). I’m looking for depth and real understanding. I need to know you can apply the information you’ve learned from the book.
This paper should be typed, double spaced, Times New Roman 12-point font. Margins should be 1” all the way around. Only justify the left margin.
As with any essay, you should make your thesis/preview very clear within your introduction. Failure to do so will eliminate any chances of making an A on this assignment.
This assignment is worth 100 points but will count twice for a possible score of 200.
The paper is due to my office by 5 p.m. on July 6. If I am not there, slide it under my door. Late papers will not be accepted and the student will receive a zero for this assignment.
